Óscar’s signature PROACTIVE Methodology was applied and results were quickly realized...
In 2016, Óscar was hired to serve as a Methodology Director for Granada CF (La Liga 2nd Division), while the Academy teams from U23 down to U16 competed on the regional level. At that time, Granada youth academy was competing at the amateur level and their 1st team was recently relegated from La Liga to the 2nd division.
- Within 2 years of Oscar’s arrival, Granada CF achieved the highest positions in all of the leagues from U6-U19.
- 2nd place in U-19 below Real Betis and above Sevilla FC.
- First time in Granada CF’s history to play LaLiga Cup U-19.
- First time in history to get to the LaLiga Cup Quarterfinals vs FC Barcelona U-19.
- First time in history to win Andalucia Champions Cup U-12.
- First time that a player was called up to a National Team (U-16, U18 & U-19) with 10 players so far and counting.
- First time that more than two U-20 players debuted in the senior Granada CF team.
- The senior team promoted to Spanish La Liga 1st Division 2019 - 2022
- First time in the last 40 years, a Granada CF academy graduate – Bryan Zaragoza was called up to Spain National Team.
- Bryan Zaragoza was transferred on December 6, 2023 to Bundesliga club Bayern Munich who signed Zaragoza for a reported €13,000,000.
